Amok is a cultural syndrome or culture-bound syndrome and consists of a sudden and spontaneous explosion of wild rage, which causes the affected person to run crazily or armed and attack, injure or kill indiscriminately living beings that appear in its path, until the subject is immobilized or suicide.
