Secretary of Culture of Piracicaba SP excludes Zetti General Coordination of the Contest

Posted by Jasmin Eymann On January - 2 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

The team from the International Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba will start 2010 without the number 10 shirt. According to information received by e-mail, Zetti, coordinator for over 20 years of the event, received an official statement of the Secretary of Culture Rosangela Camolesi excluding Zetti of Coordination. And from the days 31, Zetti no longer be the general coordinator of the event.
The Brazilcartoon falou Zetti. Leia o que disse Zetti.
Zetti spoke by telephone the brazilcartoon.
To she it surprise because she did not expect this kind of attitude and “recognition”.
Are 30 years of dedication to the Hall

“The Hall of Piracicaba is part of my life. It is a love that has lasted 30 years. When I started, I became fascinated by the colorful designs, the mood of the participants and the deep messages designed.
I like to be present at all stages of the hall, but one of the best moments is when I get designs from around the world and began to open the packages. I feel as if they were packages of gifts. I recognize that the event is of great cultural importance. Organized annually with much care and dedication. International Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba is one of the most important events in the world.
deeply regret having to get away from the conviviality of graphic artists and can no longer contribute to the organization and success of the International Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba. I really do not know what will happen to me in 2010, “concludes Zetti.
Experience and credibility
Zetti know the essence, the cultural, the social, political, and free expression of ideas and trends that the International Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba offers graphic artists, cartoonists and the public yet.
Over the past 30 years, he held management positions in the first halls of humor and from the creation of the Department of Cultural Action, gave him experience and training to take the lead in the organizational structure of the internationally renowned Salon de Humor de Piracicaba.
With all this accreditation, Zetti Ali served as a key to the success of artistic, cultural and organizational event until the 2009 edition. With his removal from office of Director of National Center for Research, Documentation and Dissemination of Graphic Humor de Piracicaba, everyone loses.
Fight for the recovery of Graphic Humor
Zetti showed that, regardless of the problems, financial constraints and political influences that the hall has faced throughout its history, it was always on the side of good humor, the defending event and its continuity, and above all, defend the cartoonists involved.
Today she is loved and respected by all. She won the confidence of names like Ziraldo, Lan, Angeli, Gualberto and a handful of cartoonists assembled. Zetti became an important reference for all who have participated in the event.
MANISFEST
Brazilcartoon recognizes the importance of the work of Zetti and expresses support for her stay in the coordination of the Hall also asks all cartoonists to submit cartoons, caricatures and cartoons with expressions of support. All drawings will be posted in the Gallery Special “Zetti.

We are very sorry about this news,We Hope dear Zetti will come back to her Job.We believe she is loved and respected by all .
